What is Yoga?
Yoga is an ancient art of opening the subtle energy channels. It is not about bending the body but straightening the mind. It is the unification of opposites, of light and shadow, of ground and growth, of head and heart, of body and spirit, of inner stillness and outer expansion. It is through the reconciliation of these opposites that we find our centre and innate harmony.
My name is Fleur and I have 15 years of experience in teaching yoga. I initially trained at the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala, India. in 2007.
I then went on to study Anusara yoga, yoga therapy, yin yoga and Forrest yoga. My style of yoga now is a unique and balanced blend of dynamic empowering postures, attention to alignment and meditative stillness with a prime focus on the breath.
